A fourteen-day pilgrimage through Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, and the Jordan River — then crossing into Jordan to visit Mount Nebo, Madaba, and the ancient city of Petra.
Reflection
Nothing prepares you for the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The noise, the incense, the crush of pilgrims from every corner of the world — and then the sudden silence when you step into the Edicule and kneel at the tomb. Crossing into Jordan and standing on Mount Nebo where Moses saw the Promised Land and died — the view over the Jordan Valley at sunset is one of the most moving things I have ever seen.
